Founded in 2002 and directed by Aloma Bardi, The International Center for American Music has been studying four centuries of American music ad promotes awarness of it through concert, educational and training initiatives carried out in cooperation with theatres, academic institutions and publishing houses. The Center pays special attention to the cultural inte-continental exchanges and the mutual music influences between the United States and Europe.

ICAMus’ collaboration with Prescott Studio began by conducting specialized versions and consultations in the field of English-language musical and spoken theatre. It developped into a broader, scientifically documented work on librettos and stylistic revisions of surtitles. Such English-mediated collaborative dialogue outlines a forward-looking centre of excellence.
